After almost years me and my family ( kids under ) came to this place around PM Saturday for lunch. We were lucky the lunch crowd just left. Also we were very satisfied with the food, the service and overall experience. They offer a wide variety of handmade fruit yogurt, kids love it. The beef rib was delicious and in big portions. The lamb rib was tender and juicy. The lamb rice was also great with big chunks of lamb leg meat. Strongly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Definitely, many families were in the restaurant with kids from baby to young teens.

So good! Handmade noodles are a great texture, bouncy and chewy. We got lamb in all our dishes. The skewers are great: fresh, spiced, not gamey. We tried the milk tea; it's a bit savory and very rich, so beware if you're looking for something lighter and more tea heavy. We also got the rice pilaf dish. It's good but I liked the noodles and skewers more.

Disclaimer I came here as part of an elite event. The restaurant is not very big and parking is hard to find but maybe it's because of the event. In a normal night I'd guess there would be more parking available in the back. The place is decorated plainly but I don't really care about ambience anyways.First for those that don't know yet Uyghur is an ethnic group in Northwestern China and they are mostly Muslims. The food is halal but taste is not exactly the same as Turkish cuisine. The food generally is lamb focused but they have a lot of influence from northern Chinese cuisine and I love the Uyghur food in general as I think the spice is usually better than other Muslim food.So why am I only giving stars? The food is way too salty. The lamb ribs are tender but I'm surprised that they grill the lamb ribs instead of steaming them but I do like the fat. Basically everything is too salty which I'm not sure why. Maybe serving a large group was difficult. There are more varieties than some other Uyghur restaurants in the Bay area but I think they should offer fewer options but focus on making each dish more authentic.

The food here tastes good. We tried beef soup noodle, lamp soup noodle, toast lamp, nan, Uyghur salad, and homemade yogurt. The noodle is chewy which is definitely handmade, but not by machine. The soup is fresh. I feel so warm and comfortable in such a cold weather. My husband loves the toast lamp for its texture and flavor. Two different sauces with the meat. He loves the spicy sauce. The yogurt is not too sweet or sour. You just need to mix it and enjoy it. I love it so much! I will feel perfect with the dinner if the nan is handmade. I missed the nan when I had it in Xinjiang province. There are many people from other cultures having a meal here, too. We will definitely try other cuisines next time. Recommend this Chinese restaurant!
